About the work:
Botanical is a cyanotype impression of a single frond, stripped down to its structural essence. The fine, vein-like lines appear as if drawn in light, revealing the plant’s internal architecture — fragile yet resilient, like a natural blueprint. The deep Prussian blues and soft whites create a strong contrast that highlights both form and negative space.
 
Produced through the traditional cyanotype process, the plant material was placed directly on sensitized paper and exposed to sunlight. The resulting image is a ghostly trace — an x-ray of nature, preserved in pigment and shadow.
